Speicher Group of Real Broker LLC
9841 Washingtonian Blvd, Ste 200, Gaithersburg, MD 20878
Whether she’s driving the beltway or through the beautiful horse and wine country of Northern Virginia, Rachel Cheng finds solace and exhilaration in her prized Jeep Wrangler she lovingly named, “Sally.” Just her and the open road. Soft top flipped back, radio blaring. It’s a breath of fresh air and a place where she can disconnect from the busy-ness of the world. (Don’t tell her family, but occasionally she takes the long way home.)
Rachel is licensed in Virginia and is a Certified Senior Housing Professional who happily calls Northern Virginia home. She grew up in Reston and it’s where she’s raised her family. Her childhood memories are filled with Reston soccer, time on the pitch, cleats and jerseys, and the very best friends. When she walks through town she notes that while many things have changed, the smells of the Lake Anne Plaza farmer’s market are still the same after all these years. Home.
She loves British TV and 70s, 80s, and 90s music. And if crime shows like CSI had been around when she was a kid? Well, she may have just become a forensics expert on a crime scene.
Rachel is a proud George Mason University Patriot #MasonNation with her undergrad in business and a master’s in education. She taught economics and personal finance for many years and although she loved being in the classroom, she was ready for a new challenge: real estate. She worked for a few brokerages but found them to be mostly isolating and uninspiring. It wasn’t until she talked with Chris and Peggy Lyn that everything clicked. Their conversation ignited in her a flame that had been slowly burning. The teamwork, support, resources, and potential that Speicher Group offers was the breath of fresh air she was looking for.
