Meet Megan
As a kid, Megan spent one family vacation driving across the country for six weeks. Back in the 80s, there were no portable TVs or electronics. So she smiles when she recalls all the fun she had playing board games with her three older siblings in the back of the family car.
Maybe that’s where her love of travel started. Alaska and Hawaii are on her bucket list, but her favorite place in the whole world? Ireland. It’s where her great-grandparents are from and from her very first visit (for a friend’s wedding in a beautiful Irish castle), she was smitten with everything about the Emerald Isle.
Megan’s a MoCo native who studied English and communications at West Virginia University, a school she originally chose because her brother was there. It didn’t take long for her to get excited about the beautiful campus, the mountains, and Mountaineer Football. She still sings “Take Me Home Country Roads” and cheers for her alma mater every chance she gets. In addition to the Mountaineers, she’s a Commanders and Orioles fan.
Her music tastes are pretty much reggae and anything with a laid back vibe — Gwen Stefani and No Doubt. Although she also likes classic rock. Her most recent concert? Guns N’ Roses. #welcometothejungle
A perfect day is spending time with her kids or going to dinner and a movie with her boyfriend. Favorite holiday? You can probably guess. St. Patrick’s Day. She went to Catholic school as a kid and the pastor would pick one extra holiday a year to for the school and he always chose St. Patrick’s Day!

Tara is AMAZING!!! She was funny, knowledgable and understandable when it came to our timeline for purchasing a vacation home. She took us to many excellent condos as options for our vacation home and understood exactly what we were looking for. Kathleen is by far the best Realtor we have ever had! As a native of the area, she is very knowledgeable of the market and real estate laws. She accommodated her schedule to ours, responded to our questions within just a few minutes and ensured we had all the information we needed to help us make the best choice. She explained, in detail, each step of the home buying process; ensured we received the best negotiated deal; worked with the lender and title company to keep the process on time. Amie was fantastic to work with. She was incredibly responsive at all hours by text, phone, and email and was infinitely patient with our first-time home buyer anxiety. She was also extremely apologetic and helpful when we experienced a few post-closure hiccups that were missed in our home inspection, even offering to pay for some of the surprise expenses. We would 100% recommend Amie to anyone looking to buy!
I cannot recommend Kathleen enough. In this crazy market, she managed to help my husband and I get our dream home even though we were using VA financing. She is experienced and knowledgable about the home buying process. We were first-time home buyers, and Kathleen was extremely patient with all our questions. Her responsiveness is excellent. You will be in great hands with her!
OMG I'm not sure I have enough space to say how very helpful and professional Kathleen was in this extremely stressful process. We had a clock to find a place and in 5 days we found one after trying 4 times with a previous agent. I was so stressed and my first conversation with her lifted it all from my shoulders. The whole process went quite smoothly and was easier than I expected. To top it all she's pregnant and that did not stop her from working with us and driving all over to find what we needed.
