Megan Ford

As a kid, Megan spent one family vacation driving across the country for six weeks. Back in the 80s, there were no portable TVs or electronics. So she smiles when she recalls all the fun she had playing board games with her three older siblings in the back of the family car.

Maybe that’s where her love of travel started. Alaska and Hawaii are on her bucket list, but her favorite place in the whole world? Ireland. It’s where her great-grandparents are from and from her very first visit (for a friend’s wedding in a beautiful Irish castle), she was smitten with everything about the Emerald Isle.

Megan’s a MoCo native who studied English and communications at West Virginia University, a school she originally chose because her brother was there. It didn’t take long for her to get excited about the beautiful campus, the mountains, and Mountaineer Football. She still sings “Take Me Home Country Roads” and cheers for her alma mater every chance she gets. In addition to the Mountaineers, she’s a Commanders and Orioles fan.

Her music tastes are pretty much reggae and anything with a laid back vibe — Gwen Stefani and No Doubt. Although she also likes classic rock. Her most recent concert? Guns N’ Roses. #welcometothejungle

A perfect day is spending time with her kids or going to dinner and a movie with her boyfriend. Favorite holiday? You can probably guess. St. Patrick’s Day. She went to Catholic school as a kid and the pastor would pick one extra holiday a year to for the school and he always chose St. Patrick’s Day!

Megan has a drive to make a positive impact on everyone she meets. She’s had a few not-so-great customer experiences so she’s extra tuned in to making sure she does all she can for her clients. It’s that kind of commitment and dedication to clients that makes us feel pretty lucky to have her on our team.
