Kim McNamara
Favorite part of her job is our team. She was one of Speicher Group’s first hires and the reason she’s stayed is because of the people. Everyone comes to the table with different backgrounds but our goal is the same…to help people. In fact, one of the reasons she loves Thailand so much is that there are people there from all over the world. Where many may notices our differences, Kim is quick to spot the things that make us similar. Our common humanity. What a great skill to have.
Her happy place? The beach. Any beach, as long as it’s with her family and she’s listening to some good music. Speaking of music, she’s a classic rock fan. Springsteen. Seger. Journey. Bon Jovi. In her downtime, she loves unwinding with puzzles with her family or enjoying a good book, mostly nonfiction or biographies.
Not many people can say an ad on Craig’s List changed their lives in a good way, but Kim can. She was looking for a career change and spotted an ad for a job with Speicher Group. The team has become an extension of her family and looking back at that moment of decision, she’s so glad she answered the ad. (We are too.)
